Privacy Policy
Lenscript: Voice Teleprompter · Updated November 2, 2026
The short version: Lenscript doesn't collect, sell or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your scripts, recordings and captions stay on your iPhone.
What stays on your device
- Scripts you write or import are stored in the app on your iPhone.
- Video and audio recorded with Lenscript are saved in the app's Documents folder, and in Photos if you turn that on. Nothing is uploaded.
- Voice Follow and captions use Apple's on-device speech recognition. Your voice is processed on your iPhone and is not sent to us or to any server we operate.
Permissions
- Camera and microphone, to record your takes and, with Voice Follow, to keep your place in the script.
- Photos (add only), to save finished takes when you choose to.
You can change these at any time in the Settings app.
Purchases
Lenscript Pro is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.
Backups
Like other app data, Lenscript's data may be included in your iCloud or computer backups according to your own device settings. We don't have access to those backups.
Children
Lenscript doesn't knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
